Antique Tinned Brass Tumbler

 Gorgeous antique tinned brass tumbler from North India, which would make a lovely vase or pencil holder. This early 20th century cup is densely decorated with palmettes within diamond shaped frames. Repoussé is a metalworking technique in which a malleable metal is shaped by hammering from the reverse side to create a design in low relief.
